Bellefleur Nursery was established in 1926 by the Roussel family, originally exporting grapes and later tomatoes for the UK Wholesale Markets.
Over the last 10 years we have modernised and invested in the Nursery and today it is the largest Carnation Nursery in the UK and the most modern Flower Nursery in the Channel Islands with a total of 7 Acres of aluminium glass. we now specialise in Spray Carnations, currently growing over 30 different varieties and producing 5 million stems annually.
Guernsey - The Island of Flowers
The Island of guernsey has one of the best climates in the world for growing a variety of flowers, the combination of light and the equable climate results in the production of flowers that are charactised by their firm, straight stems and beautiful colours. Freesia, is especially suited to our climate, producing the long stemmed fragrant blooms that Guernsey is famous for. Guernsey is the largest single British supplier of cut flowers to the UK markets.
